Yamaha AX-570 repair

Amp/Preamp Asylum

Looking for a new Amp or Preamp? If you're after tubes, post over here.

I have a AX-570 integrated that's about 20 years old.One channel of the pre-amp section cuts out periodically. I found this by using the main with another pre-amp. I am guessing it is not worth repairing, I paid around $500.00 new as I recall
The other option I thought about was just using the main amp section and buying a tube pre amp, but with a 20 year old piece I would guess componets maybe out of spec and so forth?
