Oh I hear ya and the latest stuff isn't as good as the stuff I used in the 90's but this will be just for speech and I'll never use even a third of the amps capability and it will be well ventilated. I'm using 2- 8 ohm speakers so I can give it 8 ohms stereo or bridge it and give it a 16 or 4 ohm load. I'll probably just go for 8 ohm stereo.
