180hz hum from amplifier

I have a Parasound 1500A amp that has begun a 180Hz hum (chk'd w/an online tone generator) through the speakers with preamp inputs disconnected. It's on both channels, but much louder on R. I'm 130 miles from a decent repair tech but I can solder and use a meter. Any suggestions for a DIY top level check? Maybe a capacitor?
