The 3.6 has a fundamental resonance at about 42 Hz that can bottom out the diaphragm (hitting the magnets). Also make sure the bass/driver is not loose, causing rattling against the MDF frame. Sometimes even the cross bars on the perforated sheet metal comes loose.
