RE: MG-III Glue Up Fail

Gluing the wires and mylar worked best although not perfect. A teeny artist brush with the 77 and washers did the trick on those problem areas. I freestyled the mid wire and that was real easy. Soldering aluminum was a PIA so I converted to the screw terminals that Maggie sent me. I did put in Cardas binding posts and new fangled expensive fuses. I did not use the new fuse holders I purchased because it was problematic. I did clean up the old ones. They were cruddy.
That speaker is done except for the sock and frame. I hooked it up to my vintage Pioneer SF- 850 3 way active crossover but I am bi-amping so no highs came through. I switched over to my Marchand XM9 2 way active crossover and holy moly what a sound. Everything works!!!!! Nice ribbon!!!!
I did get a hold of Gary at Maggie and new wire is on the way for the second speaker bass section. They were without a service person for a month but they are training someone now.

Thanks everyone. Pics are coming.
