Maggie 1.7i in unusual room?

My room is about 22 by 15 but it's split by a room divider that's about 7 feet wide. To listen, I have to put speakers in about the middle of the room on either side of that room divider and they end up 10 feet from back wall and 3 feet from the side walls. I listen about 9" feet from the speakers.

Will Maggies work that far into a room or do they need to back wall for bass?
