No one wants to outright say they're stand alone speakers (despite the fact they premiered as such at an audio show); but I bet I could make them sing in a small bedroom. Only problem is I don't spend much time in the bedroom (awake that is). The only other place I spend more time in (other than my audio room) is in the garage but that would be over-kill and the pair of Pioneers out there do a good enough job as it is.
I have the Gunned MMGs, and pair of Triangle Comete-both I regrettably have little time for. Spending a grand on another set of speakers would be irresponsible -even for me!
