In your combination of the IIIa and the Tympani ID, the bass of the IIIa and the tweeter of the ID are not up to the other drivers. Sure, it depends on the crossover to some degree. The ID tweeter will not work very well below 1 kHz, the mid of the IIIa will. The ID tweeter probably can be better integrated with the ribbon tweeter but all the drivers need to sit close together at higher frequencies. Still, I think it is not worth the trouble.
