I often wanted a decent sound on vacations, so I put together one from Audiogon and Ebay. Hifiman He400 Headphones connected to a Fostek HP-P1 DAC headphone amp fed by a IPOD classic 160 GB. I can get most of my Cd's in lossless on the IPOD. The Fostek Bypasses the Ipod DAC and uses it's own with much better results. Planar sound to go on the cheap. Also nice listening when I don't fire up the 3.6's.
