FWI, I have reached an age that it is likely that my 30 yr Maggies will survive me. The only thing original is the bass-mid panel and that was reglued about 10 yrs ago by Magnepan and I suspect they replaced the coils - everything else including the tweeter ribbon assembly (now like the 3.7 rather than the IIIa's), crossover, frame, wiring and connectors have been replaced. Personally, I probably could use a new heart, kidneys and some joints. The brain is functioning depending on who you ask :).
