RE: Rear Wave Damping

I have a pretty small room. I found that got comb filtering if I just left the space behind my MG 3.6's empty, so I glued 8 & 1/2 of Foam Factory's "corner bass traps" together to make an absorber very much like the Sound Lab S.A.L.L.I.E (see http://www.soundlab-speakers.com/accessory.html )

I have these right behind my MG 3.6's

It sounds much better, and measurements have confirmed that there is very little response trouble being cause by comb filtering now from the "too soon" reflections from the wall that is about 18 inches behind the MG 3.6's.
Science doesn't care what you believe.
