RE: 20.7's in small rooms?

That would be an interesting experiment. You could work out the geometry on paper, it's just ray tracing and you want to make sure that the first sound to hit your ears is delayed by 10 ms (10 feet path length) or, ideally, even more. I don't think you'd need QRD's as much if the path length criteria were met but they could make the room seem even bigger acoustically.

Another thing I think HP does in his room is use his "rule of thirds" -- speakers in 1/3, listener in 1/3. With Maggies, this removes some of the bass modes and it occurs to me that that may also contribute to the fact that they work in such a small room.
