All Cartridges are system dependent and musical presentation and genre taste actually will be the critical point to consider. Also how many spares do you currently have as the cartridge should be saleable as is.
Not knowing the above, and thus based on the Goldring Rep (had 1012 & 1042), I would retip. $250 at Soundsmith is good value for a cartridge in this range and the ruby cantilever should add something in speed. I believe the cart has reasonable realism and bass. Note the line contact is not the same as the FGII so sound will change somewhat. Still a good cart.
New I personally prefer Dyna & Shelter but that is based on my system and preferences.

It is a well regarded mid level MC cartridge. A SS rebuild will bring new life to this cartridge and will be much cheaper than purchasing a new cartridge that would sound better.
If you don't want it- sell it as is. You will be surprised at how many will be interested in purchasing.
Best,
Ross

I don't know where you are geographically (suspect Burkina Faso isn't true). So on pricing alone I wouldn't think that re-tippng a 315 gbp cartridge is worthwhile unless you have motivations beyond just keeping it going. The last time I looked at a straightforward re-tip it was circa 300 gbp. Buy a new one or something else.
