The 10th year anniversary of this enigmatic film (soundtrack) will finally have a vinyl pressing available to the public this November.. Clint Mansell + Kronos Quartet + Mogwai collaboration. Just a heads up for the fans of this film score..

... for one of 500 copies at something called "Mondo-Con" - I'd love to (pre-) order a copy, but it doesn't seem that's an option right now, and I'd bet that the 500 get snapped up:

"MondoCon Exclusive Limited to 500 Copies ... It will be made available first to attendees at MondoCon with an online sale set for November 2016."

Maybe a less-special version will be what they offer for sale in November.

So loud you could not even think. So loud you thought you might literally lose your shit. So loud that even on the street in front of the club it sounded as loud as any other band in the hall.

Made for an unforgettable experience just not an unforgettable music experience.

I thought I liked them but never could warm up to them again after that assault.

In combination with KRONOS? Hoping they are not playing at the same time.

Hi Rick,

You can strream or buy a used CD or download it somewhere to have a 'taste' first.. I'm pretty sure your hotrodded Soekris multibit discrete r2r can sort through the cacophony =).. The music is actually quite accessible IMO. Seeing the film first helps put the score into context. I really liked the emotional thrust and visual artistry of the film, but it's a polarizing film to say the least..

Thank you! I began writing labels and vinyl blogs almost 10 years ago in an effort to encourage pressing of this fantastic soundtrack on vinyl. Truly a grail for me.
Thanks for the heads up!!!

You're welcome! FWIW, one of the highlights for me in visiting this forum is seeing your AC'sOTD themed posts, the photos of your admirable bewildering collection.. Something to aspire to IMO..
