I have question gee thats original. I keep seeing these Yaquin Amps, Pre-Amps and so on now how anyone tested them compared them to the vintage gear that I have been listening to forever I think they come from Hong Kong. Kindablue

I've heard a few Chinese things from them and others. I'm not willing to make a blanket statement on them vs vintage gear because the vintage gear that can vary so widely in quality. If you do by Chinese make sure the transformer is rated to take 120, not 110 as some are.

Dunno... Chi-Fi comes to mind. Worth owning (and keeping for a Lifetime) amps are in the 3k$ range. Not inexpensive by Any yardstick. But anything less is a crap shoot... doubly so if 'Fabrique en Chine' Buy Cheap.. buy twice.
