Good morning everyone. Cartridge loading is something that I have absolutely no knowledge about so I need help. I am setting up a mono system with a Rek-O-Kut L-34, Pas 3X preamp, Quad II amplifier, Audio Technica ATP-12T tonearm, and a GE RPX-041 cartridge. Any help in calculating cartridge load would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you,
Jim

The manual says the load can be anywhere from 5000 to 50000-ohms.

I'm really wondering about the tracking force of 6 to 8-grams, though. You know, they make modern cartridges that track with much lower force. Just a thought!

Good luck,
John Elison
