For a music that was produced by some of the slickest guys with the least amount of money and many small unheard of record labels THE BLUES is the best overall deal you can get. I know it was the artist, the heart the hussle of the men recording the music but man does it stand the test of time

It takes patience & knowledge and it will come to you that has been my experience. I got a lot of blues by that way of dealing with picking up good blues LPs.

I'm a blues lover without many blues records, but I have $65 in winnings from the family NFL football pool to spend. $30 is going for Ellington Masterpieces. Do you have a good blues reissue recommendation for me to spend the rest on? I'm currently leaning towards the Speakers Corner version of "It Serve You Right To Suffer" by John Lee Hooker.
