WOW!

Though I must admit - I always use the built in mechanism to lower the arm/cart - and it is damped - thank goodness....

Note that once the cartridge stopped bouncing, it was the stylus that moved laterally instead of the arm/cartridge assembly. :)

I watched that video and have a few questions:

1. When what that record last vacumm'ed?
2. Was the stylus ever cleaned?
3. Who told the operator to let the stylus fall free-fall? What ever happened to cue damping?
4. Is it me or is the suspension on that cantilever totally gone?
