What is the general opinion of this arm. It came on the QL-7 I picked up on eBay. Mounted a Soundsmith retipped Empire MC 1000 into it, and it plays surprisingly well with the medium compliance cartridge. I am going to replinth the TT-71 motor and i was not even considering keeping the arm....but now i am very tempted. So to get to the point. How do i rewire the arm ( planning to use silver) and what adjustments are recommended?

Thanks in advance

I've never "heard" this tonearm, but based on its obvious very high quality of construction and its very clever design, I have always thought that it is a steal at market prices, compared to other vintage Japanese tonearms.

Waaaaayyyy behind you here but check this out- it seems an easy veneer project (as far as those things go- I never had an 'easy" veneer project happen to me!) What happened with that 5045 arm?
