Just ran across this on Craigslist. Very cool. I have never seen a model 25 in a full size cabinet.

That's a pretty one.
There were "mod" style consoles, too.

Yes, 400 bucks was what you could buy an entry-level component system for in 1970, consisting of a Garrard SL72b turntable, Pickering cartridge, Electro-Voice or Scott or Fisher receiver, and a pair of KLH Seventeen speakers.

It was a clear choice: WAF or components.
