picked this up off the side of the road and am restoring it, from what I see on the schematic only the two wires to the power tranny need to be used from the connector, correct? Just think I should remove all the wiring to the connector and put a power switch in its place, should be good, I think, unless someone here knows something about how the wiring may affect the amp. Thanks!

The two wires from the connector are the primary leads if they are black and a black/red stripped wire..Hook one side to the switch you make up and the other wide to the line cord..You want to fuse it as well.
