I have a pair and they are nothing to write home about and mine are all rebuilt.What I don't like is the fact that they don't have a 500cps position and even tho they are rebuilt,they kind of muddy the sound.
Your best bet is to build a passive crossover or get a fixed crossover that you can change components in to change your slope and freq like my ARC.My favorite crossover you can change by controls is right here..I shouldn't have sold mine.

Hi Mike, that Heath crossover looked like a lot of stuff the amps original signal would have to go thru. Why are these so sought after? And Mike or Tesla how were they used in 1956? Throw some old names out. It would be really interesting to me. Thanks guys.....Mark Korda
