Runs 4 6mb8 outputs and has the rca connectors under chassis .I cannot find a clue as to builder

I'll venture a guess that it's quite old. The separate tuning caps. for AM and FM, as opposed to a single, ganged, part suggests the unit predates FM MPX stereo.

What is the rest of tube complement, including the rectifier?

Worst case, the magnetics can be salvaged and new circuitry built around them. Several reasonable schematics for 6BM8 "finals" are available. I've uploaded the fairly recent ASL AV8.

Those output transformers look exactly like the ones in my Realistic SAF24 which also uses 6BM8's. I am pretty sure mine is a slightly altered Kenwood Trio.

I have a Japanese Lafayette tube receiver and a Pioneer tube integrated amp. The amp section in both looks very similar to that amp. The Japanese have no problems with vertical monopoly. My Pioneer and my Lafayette are so similar that I suspect that they were made by the same company.

narrow-down date of manufacturer. Any manufacturer ID on pots, too.
