New speakers added to the collection and repairs completed on others

So recently I have accumulated quite a few sets of speakers. My latest additions are JVC SX-A6 that need repaired. Woofers aren't original and one has a dead mid. So these will take some time before they are back to original. But in the time I've been away from the vintage asylum I finally ordered all the foam surrounds for speakers I've had sitting around awaiting this repair. I finally re-foamed a set of Cizek Model 1 I bought about a year ago and never got around to re-foaming. For me these took quite some time because the voice coil gap was pretty tight and they tried my patience very much. Also finally sourced the original woofer my Advent 2002 speakers that I bought about 4 years ago at Rogers flea market in Ohio. It took forever to source that woofer. Repaired a set of seldom seen Ego 8.2 speakers that actually sound good for a cheaply built speaker. I understand the 12.3 is built well. And lastly re-foamed my A/D/S L-300C. I'm very impressed by the Cizek's and wish I would have repaired them earlier. These things are amazing. I really enjoy the flat response and tight controlled bass on these. It took me a long time to get a set of these and these are keepers. Below is a picture of some of my speakers I own. The picture isn't very good as it's grainy.

That's quite a collection. I wish I had the space. I'm not at all sure I'd have the patience to find all those drivers. Where do you find them? ebay?

The graininess is noise from shooting the picture without enough light.

What's that large speaker in the top center with the Peerless tweeter and the two shiny knobs at the bottom?

Jerry

Hey Jerry,

Thanks for replying. I source the drivers on ebay and it takes a while before some drivers are show up on there. The large speaker with the Peerless tweeter and knobs is Cizek Model 1.
