Here is the Radio Craftsman RC-8 AM/FM preamp from the Lafayette console I was given last week. You can see the Scott influence of those great radios from the 30's and 40's with the chrome chassis and chrome tube shields. Cleaned up nice. I'm looking forward to hearing it soon.

You must mean EH Scott, not HH Scott.

I have an RC10. workmanship is impeccable.

One of the saddest things we did when I was in the business was "updating" an E. H. Scott console. We did the best we could -- the new electronics were McIntosh -- but the elegant old components occupied a place of honor in our service department for a long time.
