I'd take the Scotty Cameron putter.

But if he needs room, I will tame the dual dial Scott any day.

Last set of clubs I owned were stolen. I got a deal and the thief shorthanded. I would have given him $100 to steal them. Hate the game.

Looking at all the gear and all the clubs, I fail to see any problem. Well other than he is out of shelves for more gear. :^)

Golf is not a fun game if you're a high handicapper like me and then follow the rules. We found making up our own rules was very helpful. For example, if you lose your ball, that's penalty enough. We had two and a half pages of rules like that. One of the players in our group (he was a local attorney) said that given "our Cavalier disregard for the rules of golf, we should be flying a pirate flag from our cart". Shortly after that I rigged up a long fiberglass rod with a skull and crossbones and we would put that in one of the golf bags on our cart. Thus was born the Jolly Roger Golf Association.

Ah, golf and stereos. When I was 14 in the late '70's, I started to play golf, and started hanging around with a bunch of guys that were modding old Dynaco gear.

Then I figured out that those two activities took time and $ away from chasing girls.

Didn't seriously bother with either stereos or golf for another 10 years.

Well there's his problem - no 'table...his only source is FM. (nt), posted on October 20, 2014 at 16:45:09

When I moved to Florida, I bought the clubs after deciding to take up the game. The first time out, I hit the ball and it bounced off a log. As I was within a couple of feet they guys I was with started yelling and just then I realized the log had lifted up on 4 legs, turned and looked at me and then slid into the water hazzard. That was enough for me that day.

The next time out, I hit the ball into the rough. As I stepped over some old branches lying on the ground I heard a rustle and realized it sounded more like a baby rattle. I jumped further than I ever have in my life and landed just in time to see the rattler slither off. It was that day the clubs were stolen. I decided to become a permanent weekend resident at the library thereafter and study for my CPA exam instead.

Brian,

Great story! My Dad retired to Florida and had a similar story about hitting the ball into the rough and hearing a rattle. He moved to one side and heard another. At that point he thought, it's only a $1.25 ball, the Hell with it, and went back out the same way he came into the rough. My preference is to play in northern Ohio where rattlesnakes have disappeared. Although some idiot is talking about trying to re-establish them here.

I have at least two dozen sets of Hogan irons and woods. That's not including different shafts, heads, grips, etc.

Vinyl, valves, and muscle backs. Call me a traditionalist.

I would definitely say that this guy has golf club problem, they are taking up room for another rack. )MT(, posted on October 20, 2014 at 22:34:00

Kind of a strange way to store golf clubs but what do I know. I do think he likes silver faced gear with a lot of push buttons, save the Scott. Probably takes him 20 minutes to find which mute or tape monitor button is engaged. :)

But he is addicted to silver faces. If that is a Kenwood amp and tuner on the bottom right shelf, I'll help him edit.

And yes, the golf swing is the most unnatural motion ever attempted by man. But fun when you actually hit the damned thing.

I have a couple sets of Hogan Apex; forged/persimmon.
I have many sets of Wilson Staff; forged/persimmon.
And Hagen, MacGregor VIP, RAM Tour grind, Titelist, Mizuno and many more.

It's a sickness really.

Real men swing forged blades.

I don't play as much as I once did, but I still log my share of range time.

There is probably a hooked up York system that is not visible in the picture.
