Any experience with a specific "variety" of Technics SA-400 receiver with a cabinet that's a mother to remove?

The service manual for the model, which I got at the Hifi Engine, shows the normal set of two screws each side... yet mine has NO such screws in sight! Just a nice, plain surface... And assuming that that's the way to do it, I don't seem to be able to unmount neither of the front and back panels; once their knobs and screws are removed, they both offer a tight resistance at the top. So this is where I decided I'd leave it alone, and ask you...

I have never seen anything like that before...

...one top left and one top right that look like they might have something to do with mounting the case to the chassis. Just a thought.

Those photos of yours give it right away; we can see the little channels! ...Which I should have seen "live"...
