Hi-

I Live in NYC, but in a particularly bad reception area. My apartment is located between the Brooklyn and Manhattan Bridges, so there is lots of multipath.

I am considering the Rega Radio and wondering how it might handle porr reception conditions. Also considering the Magnum Dynalab MD-90.

I have significant visual impairment, so pr-sets and remote are important. This may rule out the MD-90. I am currently using the Linn Pekin and am looking for a more involvong and ;ess "dry" tuner.

How does the Rega stack up against the MD-90 and are there others to consider?

I have never heard nor seen the Rega tuner but I know the Magnum tuners do very well in New York City. With the new models you can add a remote with I believe five whole presets if that helps any.

Hi There
NOrmally I would not get involved in these discusions but the MD 90 you are considering because of the three stage front end and analog tuning works well in the tough market your in , it also can be bought with a very easy to use remote control, if you woudl liek further info please give me a call 1-8--551-4130
