kinda a silly question: i just received a MR 77 (seriously perfect condition and hea: 'better than CD sound') with the wooden case but in the case it won't fit on my audio rack, nuded from the case there doesnt seem to be 'feet', are McIntosh feet an option where would i obtain them and are there threaded holes in the tuner chassis?

thanks much.

The Mac gear was mostly set up to either be held by their 'PanLoc' mounting system- which is a pair of (Left & Right) steel angle pieces that have an aluminium track that matches the aluminium rain on the edge of the equipment - MR-77 in your case- to slide in/out of the enclosure-
or the Box - that you have

My MR-77 is currently in storage due to some other challenges - but I do not recall there being mounting holes for feet but I just bought another MR-74, and the seller apologized for loosing 'the feet'- so perhaps there were---
either a 6-32 thread or a number 6 sheet metal screw would have held them in place-
Try Audio Classics or Terry DeWick
Happy Listening

Search for "mcintosh feet" in consumer electronics in ebay. Lots of 'em. Measure the foot height you need, as there are various sizes.

There are four threaded holes for feet on the chassis underside. The stock plastic feet are McIntosh part number 017-041 (don't know if that includes the mounting screws). If you're interested in stock part replacements or equivalents, you might be able to find them at Audio Classics (audioclassics.com).
