I just mounted a Britta omnidirectional FM antenna in the attic. I used a 4' length of PVC tubing as a mast, but I notice that most folks seem to use a metallic mast.
Do you think the performance of the antenna is impacted by the material that the mast is made of?
In other words, does the mast become part of the antenna?
Thanks!

I also use PVC tubing for my antenna mast in the attic. The mast does not become part of the antenna.

I agree. I also used PVC as the Antenna Mast and the rotor stand-off.
