Can someone confirm that this is an early 1950's Raytheon 5814?

Thanks!

Any etched dots or "JG" printed on the tube?

No--It is supposed to be from a lot of JAN-CRP, with a faded/missing label.

I don't recall seeing etched tube types on any of the Raytheon tubes that I've used. Doesn't mean there aren't any.

Besides, I haven't had a Raytheon 5814 or 5814A in a long, long time. Maybe 20 years. All the 5814 and 14A that I have are CBS-Hytron variety. My Raytheon 9-min mini stash includes 5751, 12AX7A, 12AT7WA, and 12AU7A.

Internals to me look like either CBS or Lansdale (Philco).

Agree with the problem with etch which also struck me a GE but maybe not. Raytheon didn't etch to my knowledge, they liked paint. The getter is also different.

These have etched printing, and appear to be the same?
