   The Radi0Kit RK318 MM tube kit comes out in two flavours. The dearer one features better components e.g. Dales and M-Caps. They also supply JJ 12AX7s, nice touch. I built mine on a 1U 19" rack mount with tubes exposed. My standard PS for small tube devices is a step-down tranni into a step-down tranni backwards. The power Toroid is overkill at 160VA but these are ultra-low profile types and relatively inexpensive. I included a 5H chokes as part of the two stage PS filtering and it paid off for a quiet performing god sounding MM preamp. Very impressive sound and works extremely well with my retro-thermionic\Boozhound Labs MC preamp (I called "Bourbon". I called the tube MM stage "La Gitana".
