ESR is 1.1 ohms

Leakage current is minus 1.4 microamps which is below 0

Dielectric absorption is 0% which is tops.

This is a 51uf Solen poly and it reads exactly 51.3uf

Leakage current is 5.2 microamps, not milliamps which very low

dielectric absorption is 0% which is expected.

The ESR is 1.16 ohms

This is a 70uf Panasonic film cap and it reads exactly 70uf

Leakage is about 3ma which is very good for this 820uf lytic large value cap

ESR is 1.14 ohms which is really good as well

Dielectric absorption is at 8% which is dam good for a lytic.

This first cap is the Panasonic 820uf CE.It reads 716uf which is actually well within tolerance of 20% which this reading around 12% or so.

The tests I am going to show you are tested on my Sencore LC-102 and it shows the most critical aspects from ESR,dielectric absorption, leakage by current and internal resistance.I picked my favorite to two of my many favorite film caps.

...also, a neg leakage current is suspicious and warrants further investigation. I'd guess a case of DA but with meter leads are reversed.

Out of curiosity, did you compare the 70uF film cap against Panasonic's specs? I know it's a large cap, but 3mA seems high for film. The only way to know for sure would be to look it up.

I said the 70uf panasonic is 5.2ua not 3ma. The 3ma was for the 820uf panasonic electrolytic. The reading for the 820uf lytic now reads in the 351ua range and I had to push the button and hold it for a while..It drops more the longer you hold it.

The solen is the best one spec wise but it's also the largest physically and the most expensive.

No, you didn't say that, it was very confusing. Much clearer now that you've edited the post. The numbers make more sense now.
