you would hear maniacal laughter in the background, as in "Frankenstien Rides Again!". This is what I ended up doing to finally track down the problems I was having with my 26/26/45 amp build. The first photo is the new amp with a bunch of parts clip leaded in for test purposes. The second is the working breadboard of the same amp that I used for comparison with the new amp. This way I could go through the new amp step by step and compare the voltages with the workng breadboard.
Finally got everything the same in the right channel, so the next step will be to try and do the left channel and see if the power supply module (on the right in the second photo) will have enough umpah to carry both channels. Looks promising as I had to knock both the B+ and the B+2 down quite a bit with resistor/cap nodes, so I have a bit of headroom there still. We'll see.

Turns out I can. Click link below for what I think is a most appropiate sound track. Now if I could just figure out how to get the sound track to play when the first post is opened .....
