I played around with various old stock 6DJ8's, 7308's, etc. and now am going to spend a good day comparing them closely. My initial reactions are mych less sonic differences in them than the 12AU7's I compared in my ASL integrated amp. But much greater variation in microphonics and noise. Most of the tubes I played around with were at least slightly microphonic. Others were quite pronounced. I have a slew of tubes to try as I have accumulated a nice stash of them over the years. I also thought I might try a couple of 7DJ8's I have purchased but never used. Also some Russian equivalents. Love to hear anyone elses experiences with them.

Different tubes can sound different and are often circuit dependent.
