Does anybody has or know where to get a service manual or schematic for the harman kardon (THE AWARD SERIES) TA3000X tube reciever? I looked around but can't seem to find much info about this model.
Is this little receiver worth fixing? How many watts per channel does it has? What year was it manufactured?
Thanks everyone, any help specially with the schematic will be greatly appreciated.

Jim McShane weighed in a couple of years ago about this particular HK. My opinion is it sounds far better than it should. You can do a search in vintage section and here. You should find the information you are looking for.

Many, many, moons ago, I owned the similar FA30XK (kit FA3000X). That receiver used 7408 (6V6) "finals". It takes MAJOR tomfoolery to make a bad sounding unit that employs "12" W. multi-grid power O/P tubes.

15 WPC was claimed. Given pentode mode "finals", that's about right.

Was the first component I ever overhauled {thanks to Jim} is sooooooo ugly but sounds so good can't bring myself to getting rid of it. Prolly give it to my son.

I needed schematics for my ta3000x KH. I emailed HK support as someone suggested and after several emails was politely declined saying that was not possible. Anyone have the wiring diagram? I know that I am supposed to replace all electrolytic capacitors but do u recommend to check individually all non-ceramic captors and resistors for drifted values. thanks. Sung
