If I just turn the deck on and fast forward it when it's first truned on, it works fine.
But after I guess I could say, after it warms up, I can still use the fast forward button, but after I push it, for like a couple seconds it starts to 'stop' fast forwarding the tape.

I'm guessing a belt is slipping somewhere?

Right?
