of the 1000 & ZX7. Any thoughts? Karl

I really don't believe there is a comparison between the two. The ZX 7 is a much better sounding unit. I've had mine since 1986, and it still puts out excellent tapes. My friend and I tried the 1000, and we could never get the high frequencies to sound right. We biased and aligned for the tape used. OTOH, the 1000ZX was incredible.
