Hey guys I've got a pretty large cassette tape collection, but nothing to either play or make recordings on. I've had several good tape decks in the past, but due to age and use each one slowly bit the dust. I'd still like to have the format available to me, but I'm leery of jumping in again as no one makes these things anymore and parts are getting rarer by the day (not to mention people qualified/knowledgeable to work on them). So my question to you guys: is there a specific cassette deck you guys would recommend to me that won't leave me in the lurch if it needs to be fixed? Or one that is plentiful and fits into the right sound quality/price ratio to facilitate rapid and less painful replacement? |
