Can somebody tell me if the mains transformers in the Nakamichi ZX 7/9 cassette decks from europe/america have taps to adjust to 240 volts, thanks.

Regards,
Mike.

The service manual - available free on line, indicates that NAK made the model with at least 3 different transformers / input voltage configurations depending on where the deck was going: 120 only; 220/240 and 120/240.

What does it say (on the back) for input voltage?

Thanks, haven't purchased one yet, I'm in the UK, looks like I will be looking for a european 220 volt unless I can get a UK 240/230 volt model.
I did ask B&W about the voltage and they said 220 volt will be ok on 230 volt mains, didn't tell me that the transformer tap could be changed, Nak ZX7 or 9, I will be sending it to B&W for servicing, I did hear about a problem with these decks that they can suffer what they call the orange cap disease, so I will get them to change them and get the deck full serviced and recalibrated.

Regards,
Mike.
