I have more than several 20 year old cassettes that I recorded off a favorite radio show at the time. Alas my Nakamichi RX-2 was running a tad slow and I didn't know it. So I have warble now. Anyway to clean these up before saving to a CD etc?

Don't think I've seen a consumer deck with speed adjustments.

Tascam 130 and 112 Mk II both have pitch control and both are still in production, or you can find used units for less cost (<$200). 112 Mk II even has REAL METERS like the good ol' days!

The Nakamichi 700 also has one. I know there are several decks that have it. If you are adventerous you can go inside and change the speed. If these aren't super hi quality tapes or you can sacrifice a little fidelity, you can use just about any boom box or lower priced tape deck (Pioneer , etc ) and just go in and change the speed control usually located in the motor assembly (access is through hole wit a rubber plug or tape covering opening). It's really NOT rocket science.

You can do the pitch control in the digital domain - Adobe Audition (used to be CoolEdit) can do this after you've captured the sound to WAV files. Most importantly, capture the sound to WAVs while there is still good sound to be had, cassettes are a very short-lived medium...
