the sound was thrilling, but there was about 12" missing off the overture at the head-end of the tape.

equally disappointing was the fact that the tape was physically damaged and keep 'creeping' out of alignment...and most distressing of all, was fragile in the extreme and broke in about 8 different places after two plays.

I finally bunched the tape...kept the box...but the great thing was how listening to it got me back into the soundtrack thing. I used to buy all kinds of sndtrks on vinyl...and so I am now listening to all of them again.
