Using Firefox and getting a password request window on every new page of AA.

"Password Required

Please enter master password for the Software Security Device"

Any idea as to why this pops up only for AA pages, no other pages?

Not happening on Safari only Firefox?

You got me. I have no idea.

Is it any page or certain pages?

I can't imagine anything that could cause that unless there's some strange setting in Firefox. You might try dumping the history, cache and cookies in Firefox.

Any asylum when in classic mode any post in any mode, Not when opening Forum Rules or Inmate Systems or Inmate Gallery, just when opening posts.

Big blue circle with a white question mark saying "Password Required"
And the the text below:

"Please enter the master password for the Software Security Device."

Choice of entering a password and hitting CANCEL or OK.

Hit cancel and continue without problems till you open another page and the same thing happens.

No other web site so far BUT I think I have an idea!

Happens on ALL pages (every web site) that have a 'Password' query anywhere on the page! Even at the bottom where you have the option of posting a message and entering a password.

It's Firefox's Master Password system run amok.

Even though I entered it when I logged into Yahoo! earlier in the day, every time Firefox sees a web page with a password query, one it has in memory, it wants to see the Firefox Master Password.

I re-entered the master password after logging out of Yahoo and then logging back in, and now it's fixed.

Sorry for the confusion.

For once it's pilot error and not my problem.

Thanks for the update.

How do I get on the 'Inappropriate Ads' list mentioned in the tread below? Been pretty boring since Outside closed down. ;-)
