Hi everyone. I just got a used Viva Solista mk.3 but do not know how to turn it on/do not have an owner's manual.

Is anyone familiar with the procedure? Something about pushing the switch down and holding it there to partially heat up the tubes, then, at some point, pushing the switch up to the full current position? I've waited weeks for my tubes to arrive and finally inserted them/don't want to blow them up for not knowing how to use the "on" switch. Any help would be much appreciated.

The amp is switched off with the control in its central position.

To turn on, move the toggle switch to the down position and leave for around a minute.

Then move the switch to the up position.

I used to own a Little Solista and currently have my eye on another as there are things it did that I haven't mangaged to replicate with the 2A3 and 45 SETs I've owned for the last few years.

Enjoy!

Push the switch down. Let the tubes warm up 10 minutes. Then push the switch up. Middle position is off. Enjoy! You own a great amplifier.

Sweet, sweet amplifier. Not as much "drive and grunt" as some single 845 amps I've used, but beautiful sound for sure.
