does not have to be AN certified as long as they know how to do a first rate job

I am trying to avoid shipping this beast of an amplifier

I wish I could help you, but can't. However, I do have some advice. This comes from a former owner of this beautiful "beast", who had it shipped from Denmark to London by regular post: if you have to ship it and, if you don't have the original box, order one new from the UK (email or call) and keep it.

Mine went to London, to a son. It just was too heavy and bulky for me to handle. I replaced it - well part of it - with an AN Conqueror Silver exactly for the reason i mention and enjoy it tremendously.
