IME, Min was helpful and seemed to a be genuinely kind person.

There are a few builders who would be willing to build you a SET amp, probably with (what I think is) better quality than what Min has delivered in recent times. Search the forum for builders - James Burgess is one name that springs to mind.

wow. that is a drag. min built some interesting and great sounding equipment. listening right now to a preamp with type 76 tubes that he built and it sounds amazing.

PS check out will vincent in idaho for custom builds.

I bought one of their 45 amps second hand some years back, and it looks and sounds wonderful. I see from their Facebook page that they just completed a pair of amplifiers with the type 50 tube. I wonder if they are going to be doing any commission work going forward?
