Basic for most of you: Is the plate voltage in a SET amp. with 300B etc. measured between the plate and ground or plate and cathode (excl. cathode resistor)? I always thought the last is correct, but some written sources has made me confused. Many pitfalls when building from scratch, this must be done right. Thank you!
