Chris Connely, Jah Wobble, Geordie Walker, and Martin Atkins

Forget who is from where, but these guys come from Public Image Limited, Revolting Cocks, and one other band (ministry?) I think. Anyway, I picked this up for two reasons: 1) group is made up of some interesting fellows responsible for other good music I like and 2) 7 songs for $7.99, 7 good songs, no filler bullshit. How can you beat that. What does it sound like? Humm, has the Revo voice and some Wax Trax industiral/techno feel to it, but there's more to it than that, just hard as hell for me to put into words. I'd hate to say to get this if you liked the groups these guys came from because it is a different project with a different, but also familiar style. If you didn't like those groups, there may be no reason not to check this one out. Know what I mean?!?

I bought this for the same reasons that you did. There are times when Jah Wobble's monotonous one sound bass lines duplicate that of early PIL for sure. Given the people involved, i found it to be kind of a let down. Not nearly as energized or aggresive as i was hoping. This is not to mention the somewhat bad attempts at bad dance beats. Sean
