Shame he lost his way with his band choices. Late ELP was a little embarrassing and what came after ... YUCK!

He was a much better than average bass player along with that voice.

Last time I saw a picture of him I was shocked. I would not think a Brit would allow himself to get that large. Now with hindsight, not knowing how long he has been dealing with cancer, was the bloating due to that?

I think how I was 14 when the first King Crimson album was released and this guy was THAT good at only 21.

Even with the (my opinion) missteps he remains one of the great rock musicians.
