I haven't heard a lot the past few years in the rock arena to get too excited about. I suppose as a nearly 50 year old man, that's just the natural progression of things - Hold the phone.

ALTERBRIDGE has come out with a radio friendly, and uplifting rock anthem with guitar riffs and drumming that remind me of the rockers of yore. One thing I applaud ALTERBRIDGE for (at least on this cut), is they allow Myles Kennedy the S-P-A-C-E he needs to to sing. Note to young axemen: We know you can all shred, but sometimes less is more.

Have a listen and don't turn it off after the first 20 seconds as the song really begins to roll at that point.

I predict this anthemic rock song will see duty as lead-in music to NFL games, big sporting events, and pickup truck commercials.

Props to ALTERBRIDGE for writing and playing something this old rocker can get dig.

Maybe it's a age thing??

Mid 50s is getting a little long in the tooth ( OLD ) to appreciate modern rock for most.

I'm not far behind at 48 and none of my friends listen to much past Van Halen's Balance record from '95 as it relates to rock.

Hell, most guys on the Asylum are still thinking Rush and Fleetwood Mac are relevant. Personally, I think rockers with bunions, prostate issues, replaced hips & knees, bi focals, are hard to watch.

I saw Starship a couple of years ago with the late Paul Kantner and David Freiberg. What a shit show! Lots of shuffling and stooping. I saw Eddie Money a few years back too - Sad. The ravages of drugs really rear their ugly head when these rockers hit their late 50s and on......

As you say though; To each his own.
